Compliance Testing

Phoenix hinges are subjected to rigorous test procedures to ensure
that they comply with, and surpass, BSEN 1935:2002. Products are being
designed and developed to satisfy future international standards.
There are six test cells in the company’s development section, built
to test up to and beyond these standards.

The
performance and endurance of Phoenix hinges are tested in accordance
with UKAS guidelines through ‘lifetime’ endurance cycles. In addition
to these stringent mechanical tests, hinges undergo environmental
simulation testing to determine their level of corrosion resistance.
