Concealed wire conductor hinges are designed for use with electronic entry control and can be supplied with 2,4,6, 8 or 12 wires capable of carrying up to 24v at 2 amps.

Fire Door Hinges

Building Regulations stipulate a minimum melting point of 800ºC for fire door hinges. Cooke Brothers architectural hinges are made from stainless steel which has a melting point of 1530ºC or CS4 mild steel with a melting point of 1550ºC and are all suitable for use on fire doors. When hanging a fire door all the hinges must be bedded on a suitable intumescent material or intumescent mastic on both the door and frame. The Slimline Code 7530 hinge has undergone UKAS approved testing to BS 476 part 22 1987 for FD120 rating. This is available as a door pack of three hinges and intumescent pads.
